What is a Progresso?
Progressos can come from any party, including the Republican Party. They believe in government solutions to our economic problems.
They justify America's vast overseas empire, or they justify leaders who support America's empire which is bankrupting our country and leaving us vulnerable to real security threats.
Most of all, Progressos are full of soup. This is because they believe in usurping individual liberty in the name of the "greater good".

Individualism vs. Collectivism

As our world becomes more confusing and more hectic, the most important debate that will occur in the next few years will come down to two basic ideologies: Individualism vs. Collectivism
Does the collective majority really have the right to impose their will on the minority? Can the collective majority give rights to government entities where they themselves have no such right? For example, I have the right to defend my person and my property against theft and fraud. Therefore, I can transfer that right to government. That is why we have courts, police and a military.
I do not, however, have the authority to steal from my neighbor, pollute their property or air or tell them what types of food or medicine they can buy. Therefore, an individualist believes that this authority cannot and should not be given to governments.
However, today our government does steal from individuals, they write regulations into law that legalize destruction of property through pollution and they tell us what types of food and medicine we are able to have. This is not a description of a free society.

- My hope is that this blog helps bring attention to the atrocities being committed by our government so that we can all take meaningful steps to correct these mistakes. If this ends up being a wake up call to current government officials that the citizens will not continue to sit by idly while they sell our rights and our resources while selling their own souls and they begin to change their course then this blog will be successful. If it causes new leaders to get elected who are able to make real changes in the direction of our country then this blog will be successful.
The powerful interests who control our nation's leaders can no longer be in power, they must be overthrown.
